Meet the Staff

Holly Halabicky: Owner & Artistic Director. Holly has made working with children her life’s passion. She has danced since she was 2 years old. Holly has been teaching dance since 1985. She has a degree in education and a Master’s Degree in Child Development. She has studied the Cechettie Method of ballet and has successfully completed Grades I-V teacher’s exams. In addition, she has studied jazz extensively with Gus Giordano of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. Holly continues to study all forms of dance in order to remain current and pass on the newest technique and styles to her students. Holly teaches ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Holly is the Co-Director of the Crème de la Crème dance troupes of Academy de la Danse

Lynn Holliday: Assistant Artistic Director. Lynn is a life long student of dance. She studies and takes class regularly attending conventions and workshops for teachers. Lynn is the Co-Director of the Crème de la Crème dance troupes of Academy de la Danse.

Jackie Woolworth: Jackie Woolworth is the “ballet mistress” of Academy de la Danse. Jackie teaches Cechetti Ballet Classes grades I – V. She studies the Cechetti method extensively to remain current. Each year, Jackie successfully prepares students to take their Cechetti exams.

Amanda Argue: Amanda has danced with the studio since she was 3 years old. She graduated in 2005 and is attending Baker College where she is obtaining a degree in marketing. Amanda has completed student Cechetti exams grades I-III. Amanda teaches ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Amanda attended the National Danz Association Camps as a high school student and has now attended as a teacher.

Jennifer Worvie: Jennifer has danced with the studio since she was 3 years old. She graduated in 2006 and is attending the Baker University where she is obtaining a degree in business and marketing. Jennifer has completed student Cechetti exams grades I – III. As a student, Jennifer attend the National Danz Association camps where she was selected through an audition process to be part of the All American Danz Team.

Kathy Green: Kathy is the office manager for the studio. She is at the studio during regular hours. Kathy can help you with any questions regarding your account and other studio questions.
